We met years ago at South Dakota State—most likely at a Bridgewater house party in 2010—though the exact details have grown a little fuzzy over time. Life took us on different paths for a while: Phil lived in California, Arizona, and Omaha, pursuing new opportunities, while Karlie built a career in Sioux Falls.

Phil eventually moved back to Sioux Falls where our paths crossed again, and it quickly became clear we had been waiting for each other. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with family and friends!
